Extracellular Vesicles for ‘Liquid Biopsy’ Development in Cancer by Dr. Karla Williams

This revolutionary discovery has the potential to reduce unnecessary needle biopsy surgeries because only a blood sample is needed, as well as reduce overall costs to test for the disease. The Williams lab expects to move to clinical trial phase in the coming months.
